SIDHARTHAN is a wellness app for students studying in the universities and affiliated colleges of Kerala. Through this app, students can report ragging and drug-related concerns, ask for counselling for themselves, and join moderated campus Connect community groups and chatrooms. The app also lets them send SOS alerts, which are responded to by the respective authorities in their college or university.
Students and parents use the mobile app. The respective staff members and authorities are provided with the mobile app and web dashboards and workspace.

How requests are handled
Set up by your institution
Each institution or college enrols its students, links their parents and guardians, assigns staff and gives them the access permissions their roles need. There is no individual public registration or sign-up for students and parents.
People make the decisions
Reported cases are reviewed and decided by the responsible people at your institution and, when needed, at university, district and state level. The app does not decide who is at fault.
Counselling process
Requests for counselling support and for help with drug or alcohol use are handled by the counselling team at your institution, through a separate team and process.
Who can view your request
Your request submission history is protected by a secret PIN that you set. The student’s identity is hidden from normal incident review screens. Staff access to this module depends purely on their role. Counselling requests can be seen only by the authorised counsellor. The system ensures your privacy and the confidentiality of your data.
Complaint resolution timeframe and escalation
Reported concerns have resolution timeframes at the institution. If they stay unresolved, they move to higher authorities at university, district and state level.
Read help without signing in
Help and emergency contacts are available in the app and on this website.
